Brasilia trip highlights - take 3

Today we went over to Patricia’s mothers’ house for lunch, during a little break between our shows. (Patricia has been in the family for 1 year and is from Brasilia. She is the “clown” in our puppet show.) As soon as we arrived, Patricia’s mother handed me a glass of Argentine wine!
So though I was quite tired, all was well during our meal and for the rest of the time we spent there. Still, we lost track of time and had to rush back to the school where we had a scheduled afternoon show, ha! We were twenty minutes late (oops!) but the wine, lunch, and desert was well worth our trouble, beside the fact that I was exceptionally relaxed and happy during the show!
I must say I miss my kids terribly even though I know they are being very well cared for while I’m on the road. I spoke with them almost every day this week which I’m thankful for. They both described to me in great detail some of the activities they’d been doing. Things like science projects, baking, and my daughter even had her hair curled one afternoon! (Photo below) I can’t wait to be back home with them soon!
