In KL

Kuala Lumpor is really hot! Took a trip up to a mountain resort with my Uncle, his wife, and my two cousins (really fun hospitable people). The weather up there was beautiful, cooler than in town. Everything was so beautiful that I had to take a lot of pictures. We drove up the hill half way and then took a cable car (my first time in a cable car) the rest of the way. Walked around the mall, had tea…and tea here doesn’t mean a cup of tea, it’s like a whole meal!
An amazing thing about KL: there are so many road side restaurants and food courts, not to mention the unlimited kinds of food. I’ve been eating so much since I got here, like five to six small meals a day…whoa! The food is quite different from what I am used to—it has kind of a spicy, savory, sweet taste all mixed together, tasted bud riot. From what I can gather it’s a mixture of Chinese, Indian and Traditional Malaysian cuisine.
Played cards late into the night, woke the next morning to a hot cup of Milo (I love Milo), then had a wonderful drive back down the mountain. We stopped for a Chinese lunch called chicken rice, yummy! Arrived back in KL around 5:00 and went for tea (more food). All in all an amazing day. Spent what was left of it with my grandmother, skipped dinner, then my uncle picked us up at 10:00 and we went clubbing. So much fun dancing!!!
