Singing
Joni Writes: Today we went out “restaurant singing” (see Vas’s post called Meeting People) and I met a family who all prayed with me to receive Jesus. They were very interested in our mission here and we exchanged phone numbers to keep in touch.
Tomorrow is a long-awaited fun day for our children (and us)—Family Day! We set aside a full day weekly (it’s a requirement in our Family Charter) to spend time with our personal families and do something fun together. Another young couple from a nearby home (what we call our communities) and their children are coming to spend the day with us. Our plan is to go to a park up in the mountains. The kids love to wade in the stream there (last time we caught two frogs and now have a “frog aquarium”) and we’ll have a barbeque too—complete with marshmallow roasting. So…I’m gonna try to get some shut eye. I need to be in tip-top shape tomorrow so I can keep up with my kids!
