Band work
Vas writes: The teenagers in our home are starting a band and I guess I’m the music instructor. I am having fun teaching them how to arrange songs and play their instruments. They were a little shy to start with but the drummer of our Luna Llena band gave them a very inspiring pep talk about feeling the music and the importance of charisma as opposed to just technical perfection. It was very envisioning for them and they reacted to it with a notable difference in their performance. It seems we are already getting bookings for the band as a school is asking us to do a monthly show that I thought maybe Luna Llena could do but now I think that this younger band that doesn’t have a name yet should do as it would have more of an impact.
This is exciting because we would be able to reach these young people with a message. It’s inspiring for me when I meet people who actually value the message because it’s seems so many people are willing to pay a high price for entertainment that does very little for them as a person yet are very stingy when it come to getting food for their soul.
