Life in The Family International

Slept in till 9:30 (Saturday is my day off, I’m not just being lazy). We call our day off “W’n’R”, “W” for Word (devotional reading) and “R” for Rest!

My mom just returned from Cuddalore, as she had to stay an extra day. We took time catching up on each other’s week. I’m so proud of my parents; both of them have worked tirelessly for the past six months on tsunami relief and now rebuilding.

Went out in the afternoon with my sister, we both got our noses pierced together. I have been waiting to do it for a long time. It didn’t hurt half as much as I expected it to, and it looks cute.

In the evening got together with some friends to celebrate my brothers 21st birthday. Had heaps of fun together, good drinks, and really good cheesecake!!

Deepa is a member of The Family International and is a missionary, tutors a group of 4 teens, does social and humanitarian projects, markets educational products, sells Activated magazine subscriptions, does Christian counseling, sing for a band, part time secretarial work, and other things too because my life is full of surprises.
