Car trouble
Vas writes: I’d been concerned about the vehicles that our Home has, feeling somewhat like they were a bit substandard. I’m praying that God will supply new ones, but in the meantime we’ll have to make some aesthetic improvements, especially since one day recently all three of our cars were broken into in broad daylight. A few items were stolen and some minor damage was done to each car. It’s a fairly common occurence here in Mexico though.
Actually it could have been far worse in the way of damage or completely stolen cars. For us it was a relatively cheap reminder to take better precautions. Sometimes we get so used to the Lord’s protection for us that we slack off a bit in doing our part, until something like this happens and helps us to tighten up. I’m glad it was just property-damage and not harm to individuals as here in México there are a lot of kidnapping and crimes that endanger lives daily. Taking better precautions is a good outcome of this incident.
