Life in The Family International

Aside from the usual day-to-day things I worked on this interesting project…Making an MP3 audio library. Some of the kids have little 128MB MP3 players, so I was working on compiling age appropriate music and other stuff like the audio Bible, stories, and Bible verses to memorize. Came up with 8 GB of stuff but then got stuck trying to transfer it all from the upstairs computer to the downstairs computer. After a bit of brainstorming I decided to move it to a external hard drive and then to the next computer. Took ages but at least it worked. And considering I am no geek, getting these things to work in any form is a good thing! Now I can get them to listen to heaps of Bible verses and more on my computer as well…

Dad and Mom are away and even though there are others at home, I have been feeling the weight of parenthood while taking care of my younger brothers and sisters. I’m like, “so this is how my mom feels all the time!” My little brother doesn’t like sleeping by himself so gonna go and be with him, he is such a darling and prays every night that he can visit Heaven in his dreams.

Deepa is a member of The Family International and is a missionary, tutors a group of 4 teens, does social and humanitarian projects, markets educational products, sells Activated magazine subscriptions, does Christian counseling, sing for a band, part time secretarial work, and other things too because my life is full of surprises.
