Camping

Just finishing up a great day! We slept in this morning then took the Sky Train into downtown Vancouver. First stop was the Indian Consulate to take care of some legal stuff, didn’t accomplish much so we will have to come back again, but it was our first family outing (Mom, sister, brother and me!)
Stopped for lunch (treat from my big brother J.) at an all you can eat sushi/Japanese restaurant, and ate WAY to much! But I really enjoy sushi! Then we packed for a three-day camping trip. My wonderful uncle lent us his fifth wheel. Actually he drove it up to Harrison Hotsprings and parked it in the campground for us. So we are going to spend the next few days camping, hiking and having a good time. I’ve been taking a lot of pictures since everything is so beautiful here. When I am so close to nature I feel closer to God, His presence is so tangible, His power so visible! It is awesome!
(Deepa is on a brief hiatus from active missionary work. She is traveling to visit family in SE Asia and Canada before returning to India. Enjoy her travelog!)
