Camping 3
Spent the day in a nearby mountain… okay fine, more like a hill. It was big though, and took us four hours to climb to the top where we found a little old deserted helipad and a great view. Then another two-and-a-half hour trek back down. I’ve never done anything exactly like it and although at times the trail turned into no trail and we weren’t sure where to go…we did make it to the top and back down.
I think we thought it would kinda be a casual stroll up a path, so we didn’t take anything (no food, water, hiking boots) so next time I will be more prepared. I guess I’m not so used to all day of straight exercise, My mom did it too and I was really proud of her…Oh something else, I like taking pictures of funny signs (India has some unbeatable ones) and in the car park before the ascent there is this sign that said “Car thieves work here”, I couldn’t helping thinking “Heh. Who gave them the job?”
