Wow, the last day at Mulago! A big team showed up today—perhaps 8 or 9 of us! After this week, I leave Uganda, so this would be my final day at the hospital. I thought maybe we could finish up today, but there’s still a little bit to do, which the rest of my team can finish up afterward.
The volunteers who came to help on this last day were fantastic! We normally work till past dark, and even then, it’s so fun and hard to stop! …But I was tired, and thinking about all the other projects that need to be tied up.
