Life in The Family International

Sara writes: Today Priya finally came over. It’s the 8th Bible class or so we’ve had together since we met. I usually take the baby on Sunday, but the Lord showed me to give her a class this Sunday at the same time. Well the last time I tried that it was a massive disaster……..yes yes, it is quite fresh in my memory! Crying, dancing, pulling the living room apart, falling, some more crying, some more screaming. Poor baby wanted Mommy’s attention. Yes, 11 month olds take constant attention and oversight (and I have a feeling it doesn’t end at 11 months!) I stuck her in the baby chair and put on a Kiddie Viddie for her, and amazingly enough she sat there for the whole class!

Priya and I had a great class on praise, though it was a bit hard for her to grasp that we are supposed to praise God for the bad as well as the good – ok so that’s a bit hard for me to grasp too – heh! But we did it and it was a relief for both of us – just giving everything, both the good and the bad to the Lord!!

She’s committed to weekly a class which is such an answer to prayer – she also wants to help out over the Christmas season and go witnessing with us on the weekends. Not bad!

Vincent and Sara are second-generation members of the Family International and are fulltime volunteers in India. Vincent conducts Outreach activities, designs for Family brochures, and helps in the managerial aspects of Family life. Sara runs a Baby School for Family babies and toddlers, organizes open forums and activities for teenagers, does secretarial and organizational work, and conducts motivational classes for students.
