Life in The Family International

Hey guys! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Our home (with the help of another nearby Family home) has just done our first college program for the season!

Here in India you never know what the stage (or the sound – heh) will turn out like, and our first program was surely no exception! Interestingly enough, the stage this time was a carpet with wooden crates underneath, but it did hold. Our dance team did a mixture of Hindi/Christmas numbers. The theme of our programs this Christmas are “Life as a Mountain,” and the program ends with the famous box skit done by our favourite actor—Tim. We’ll post some photos soon… Thanks Tim for all your help.

The show was a success and we were able to pray with all of the students and some got “Activated” (we got out 21 subscription altogether). In fact, since we’re on the subject of getting “Activated,” if you’re interested in helping to subsidize Activated subscriptions for students, we (and they) would super appreciate it. We get student subscribers to pay half of the subscription. This is to make sure that they value what they are getting, while still helping them to be able to afford a year’s subscription of the wonderful Activated magazine.

We have about five more shows booked for the next two weeks. Fun fun!

Vincent and Sara are second-generation members of the Family International and are fulltime volunteers in India. Vincent conducts Outreach activities, designs for Family brochures, and helps in the managerial aspects of Family life. Sara runs a Baby School for Family babies and toddlers, organizes open forums and activities for teenagers, does secretarial and organizational work, and conducts motivational classes for students.
