Christmas program photos

Joni writes: About a week ago we held our Christmas benefit dinner for all our dear friends and supporters of The Family here. Vas and I organized the musical side and helped to arrange the program. It was a big job… but I enjoyed it. Especially for the fact that our dear friend… “professional musician friend” Jerry was able to attend and help us with the music. We couldn’t have been half of what we were without him. He’s AWESOME, and just such a nice person too.
We had our dinner at a very nice restaurant quite close to our house. The owner helped us with a discount on the dinner which was a blessing. I think the night went very well. At first it was a little discouraging because we had to wait for people to show up (which often happens here) and then not as many as we expected arrived. But the Lord showed us that it allowed us to spend more time with those that were there which in turn made it more personal. Our friends were very touched when we presented them with a plaque thanking them for the great help they’ve been to us in this last year. When we also presented the owner of the restaurant with a plaque showing our appreciation for his generosity to us. He was flabbergasted and couldn’t stop talking about how happy it made him. Our lovely children also performed and made everyone chuckle (in a good way) with their rendition of Jingle Bells, choreographed by themselves. SO cute! All in all, it was a good night, the baby was good all night and allowed me to perform. There are some regrets, such as a song I messed up on a bit due to not practicing enough…but, you live and you learn. (I do hope I learn.)
Here are some pics. I will send more once I find out who is “hoarding” them. hee! Merry Christmas!
