I am Bill Wolverton, I have been a Christian since 1968 and currently attend a Calvary Chapel here in the Denver area.

I have been reading much about The Family and encounterd the COG in Europe in the early and mid 1970's when in the US Navy.

Yea, I know, it is often quite hard for me to talk and witness to non Christian people about the Lord, especially at work since I work with them everyday 8 hours a day, they know my weaknesses such as when I have conflicts with them and my anger shows and I always tend to "feel" infereior and thinking that what ever I say means nothing to them. So I think. They know I attend church, so, I am sure my life at work is being watched! The Lord has placed us in what ever position we are in for a reason and that is that Jesus would shine forth through us. In other words, for us Christians that work in secular jobs in the world, well, that job and those workers lost around us becomes our mission field. But, it can be difficult to speak forth God's Word of Salvation to those that need to hear it as it seem like these days that the topic of God tends to get suppressed in the secular work place and I naturally tend to be a somewhat subdued and quiet individual and find it even hard to get involved in regular conversions, and at times have a big problem stuttering, etc. All I can do is constantly become before the Lord in prayer and ask for wisdom and for oppurtunities for sharing and witnessing as well as for boldness when needed as supplied by the Holy Spirit.

Thanks Vas, for letting me get my 2 cents worth in! God Bless you all!

hey thank you for that word of advice. I apreciate it. Prayer is the answer and is something I could also do better in along with being more of a wittness. Tx Bill
