A van and band practice

Vas writes: As you heard, we are moving, so the first step was to buy a van. I was scared to death of buying a van. I have never done it before, and my biggest worry was that the whole family loads into the one I buy and it breaks down. Thank the Lord I was able to find a good van that I am pretty sure will not break down. The Lord miraculously supplied the money to get it (that’s another story).

So I just bought the van and while I was waiting for the paperwork to come through there was a couple of openings for our Creature/Loophole/Whatever-you-want to-call-it band to play. So far we’ve been able to play for a Bible study and a monthly three day youth seminar. Doing this was really cool because not only was it fun but we were able to practice for upcoming events. (That’s someting I had thought we would not have time for because of the move.)

I love playing music but over this three day period I think I had as much mental strain as I could handle with the all day extreme practices (why does Godfrey have to do such complicated cool arrangements?). No, I love them and appreciate the push to always get better… “good, better, best never let it rest. Anyway, it was cool, we got a lot accomplished and it was fun.

Now I just need the van title to come through in time for me not to go crazy missing my wife and kids!
