Life in The Family International

Joni writes: The 21st was Tiffany’s Birthday! She turned 4. We’re waiting till Vas comes home from his trip to have a big birthday celebration with the presents and everything, but we did some fun Birthday things together today. I took her to what is the
equivalent of a dollar store here and my kids just love going to that store because they can “choose whatever they want” and they have a great time looking at everything and picking something out. So Tiff picked out a few things and we had an icecream. Someone here so sweetly baked her a cake so we had cake and a movie after dinner. Such a simple celebration but you should’ve seen her. She was so excited the whole time—jumping around, laughing away and feeling special. I’m so happy! Tonight she told me “I really, really love you Mommy.” Awwww, my heart was so touched. I call her my brown-eyed beauty.

Vas and Joni are members of The Family International and are fulltime missionaries in Mexico. Vas helps to organize outreach, writes, records and produces music, plays in a band, performs and does shows, counsels young people and engages in evangelism. Joni teaches her four children, evangelises, performs and does shows, sings and records and assists The Family childcare board. More about Vas and Joni
