Life in The Family International

Three new volunteers are joining our team here in Bangalore, and not only our team, but they are joining The Family International as full time volunteers! It’s amazing to see some “fruits of our labors!” Of course there is always “fruit” in some way or another because every project we do is done with the goal of bettering somebody’s life, but it’s always been my hearts desire to be able to train new volunteers and be a part of expanding The Family in some way. We have a team here in the home whose job is to train and teach them in different aspects of Family life and work. So far things are going well, of course we don’t know if they will all make it by the end of the course, but I’m hoping so!

Just for fun: Here is a sign I saw in someone’s office.

It read:

Open your heart like a rose

Vincent and Sara are second-generation members of the Family International and are fulltime volunteers in India. Vincent conducts Outreach activities, designs for Family brochures, and helps in the managerial aspects of Family life. Sara runs a Baby School for Family babies and toddlers, organizes open forums and activities for teenagers, does secretarial and organizational work, and conducts motivational classes for students.
