Remembering Easter
Nyx has been busy, as she’ll demonstrate for herself when she describes what it’s like keeping a home running and myriad and sundry siblings happy from day to day. Look for an beautiful account of what her sister Tessie experienced when visiting the children’s cancer ward at a local hospital recently.
Really, all our bloggers are busy folk. Vas has been on a mighty quest to find a van for his family–Harder than it sounds and taking him away from his family for the better part of a month. Joni holds down the fort valiantly, blogging about taking the kids witnessing and the wonders of raising baby Frances.
And last but not least Sara writes about getting the Activated Incentive Program (AIP) off the ground in Southern India, and takes the time to share her thoughts about what living like a missionary in The Family International is really like, full of change and many ups and downs; Losing friends but gaining others and everything that goes along with that.

Easter Sunday is coming up at the end of this week, always a good time to stop and remember again what Jesus did for us. At Christmas time we remember that He left the halls of Heaven to be reborn in a humble stable. It’s a meaningful and beautiful time, and one that never fails to get people into that receptive place where they can receive Jesus into their hearts. Easter is another time like that, but even more so as it’s the celebration of His resurrection after giving His life to save ours. If you’re in a country that celebrates Easter, remember to get past the bunny and the Easter eggs and the Easter weekend sales and all the hubbub to remember what the holiday is all about: Jesus’ sacrificing His life so that we could have eternal life, and being resurrected to go to His Father to prepare a place for those who love Him. I promise you that remembering these things will make Easter Sunday that much more special and meaningful.
