Never a dull moment
We hope you had a great Easter weekend. Up here in Canada everyone celebrates with a turkey dinner. I’m not really sure what that’s all about, but whatever your celebration we hope you remembered what the holiday is for: Jesus and all He did for us.
Life as a missionary in The Family International is never dull, as you see when you read what our bloggers are up to this week. Vas and Joni are scouting in Mexico’s deep south right now; looking for the place where they’ll open their new home. Finding the right mission field country can be tough. Finding the right city in that country to establish a work can be tougher. Finding the house where you want to set up your base in the city can possibly be the toughest! Stay tuned for updates from the Vas-and-Joni duo as they travel around, looking for the place that God has for them.
We have a few more Easter stories for you as well. Sara shares the heartwarming story of “The Empty Egg”. Nyx reminisces about an Easter spent in Pampanga in the Philippines, where Jesus’ crucifixion is reenacted every year at Easter. All this and more you can read in the following days at LTC.
A new development that we here at LTC find extremely cool is that one of Nyx’s blog posts was used in a Reflections publication. It’s not available to link to yet, but you can read the post in question here. You can read other Reflections by going to The Family International website Reflections section of the Reader’s Corner, or by clicking here.
Have a great week. You’re in our prayers!
