Abi

Vas writes: Well after Acapulco, on our way to Guadalajara, we went back to Cuernavaca and a miracle happened. A sweet teenager named Abi said that the lord showed her to help us with the kids during this time where we are working to open our home. The reason I say miracle is because on my way back down to Mexico I was thinking and praying and I was very burdened that we didn’t have someone to help us yet. It seemed that to do what we needed to do there would be no way if we didn’t have some help with the kids. As I was praying I felt the lord give me a peace and almost heard the words, “I will bring someone to help you just in time”.
When I got back to Cuernavaca and talked to Joni about it we prayed together and asked the Lord if we should start frantically looking for someone to help us but he told us clearly to trust him and that He would lead someone to offer their help. This is a big blessing and we are very thankful. Her parents agreed to let her go with us temporarily so we spent a day in Cuernavaca letting the kids play extra hard so hopefully they would be less rowdy in the car on our trip to Guadalajara and also getting some instructions and guidelines from Abi’s parent’s concerning school and the different do’s and don’ts as well as getting the legal paperwork done that is necessary to travel with a minor.
One thing her parents asked us to help with which I thought was a good idea was to take her to all the historic sites during our travels as she will be doing a long of our trip and can include these sighting’s in it. Here is a picture of our first stop to the old famous Guadalajara church. This church is like the symbol of Guadalajara and you’ll find a little emblem or outline of it all over the place like on all the Guadalajara taxis for example.
