One week till Wordstock!
Joni writes: It’s the one week countdown to Wordstock III and Vas and I have been trying to fit in practice when we can. I owe the fact that I’m able to perform at Wordstock this year to the girls that have been helping me with the children so I can put something together—My dear friend Abi, and my sister Anki. They are jewels!! But what’s nice is that we’ll all be able to enjoy Wordstock together as they’ll be going too. Very special thanks to my dear Dad and Mom who have offered to keep our four children while we’re away attending the camp. They are awesome grandparents and have just bent over backwards to help us in any way that they can. Thank you Dad and Mom!!
And I also want to thank the best husband in the world for working so hard to help me put together my songs. It means a lot to me especially the fact that he already has a band that he has to prepare and focus on. I didn’t want to ask him to help me as I know he already has so much to do and think about, but he did so out of the kindness of his heart and I really appreciate it.
