Life in The Family International

Joni writes: Ok guys, so I made a mistake in saying that Creature was playing last night—nope, they’re playing tonight! There are so many bands playing that I mixed up the schedule. Sorry. So they’re really playing tonight and I’m looking forward to it. Vas’ voice and throat are doing much better. I know they’re gonna rock! It’s pouring rain today, but we’re hanging in there and most things are continuing pretty much as normal.

First up last night was POA and that was cool! Very enjoyable! Then we had a beautiful performance from Niki and on to a time of singing songs to the Lord, what we call a Loving Jesus Inspiration. It was very nice to just sing to and think about the Lord and how much He’s done for us. This whole time at Wordstock has been very uplifting for me and I feel that it’s strengthened me in many ways that I needed it.

All the bands have been so good that I’m running out of good words to describe them. Each concert has been so fun and has really rocked.

Vas and Joni are members of The Family International and are fulltime missionaries in Mexico. Vas helps to organize outreach, writes, records and produces music, plays in a band, performs and does shows, counsels young people and engages in evangelism.
