Kai’s first words
Kaila read her first couple of words recently and I’m overjoyed! Half the time I feel like I’m forcing her to look at those red flash cards, and she just likes looking away and says the words so she’s still somewhat participating. 
She is quite the rascal. Her new thing is sticking the ‘sticker prize’ on her cheeks. She especially likes putting a shiny sticker on as a ‘bindi’ (what Indian women usually wear just above in-between the eyebrows). I got all nostalgic today going through her little baby clothes just remembering when she was so tiny and chubby!! Sniff.
Of course every age is so cute, and now that she’s learning to talk it’s totally adorable. The other day when she saw one of the neighbors riding a bicycle, she folded her hands and said ‘Jesus, Kaila, bicycle, please’. I thought it was a sweet first reaction. Ahh…being a parent is sure a lot of fun!
