Vas writes: Here’re a couple songs from our band, an extremely new one, hot off the griddle and an extremely old one: “I Will” and “Silver Lining.” I hope you enjoy them. We had fun at Wordstock, both these songs are from our last set which closed Wordstock. It was a bit of a heavy responsibility and honestly I was worried that we would be able to tap into the power enough to be able to pull this off and end Wordstock on the right note, leaving the right thoughts on the mind’s of the youth.. I’m pretty sure the Lord did the miracle and it’s definitely only Jesus. We are nothing without him. I can barely remember my guitar parts unless He’s supernaturally inspiring me. In our weakness, He is made strong.

Vas and Joni are members of The Family International and are fulltime missionaries in Mexico. Vas helps to organize outreach, writes, records and produces music, plays in a band, performs and does shows, counsels young people and engages in evangelism. Joni teaches her four children, evangelises, performs and does shows, sings and records and assists The Family childcare board. More about Vas and Joni

   I think they meant the two wordstock clip links in this post. They weren’t working before, but they are now. There’s also two other wordstock clips in his previous posts, if you look through those.

   Vas… terrific. Thank you & all of your band, along with all other talented and inspired/annointed musicians that put so much into Wordstock. I’ve been having a bit of a music appreciation revolution since my wife, Mary’s, return with my 2 daughters & Philip’s daugther. You all really believe what you’re singing about, and that’s what Family music is all about. You’ve got the fire. It was worth everything to get our team there, lots of miles and trials, but definitely worth it all! Thank you for all that you did to make it the life changing experience that it was. The fallout here has been great! I wanted to thank all the musicians personally, but your site here was easiest to get to. You guys really Rock with Jesus. It really comes through. Maybe someday we’ll Rock together….? …would be a privelege.
