LTC: Can you tell us about a recent miracle or testimony of supply that happened in your Family home?
Yes, in fact…..quite a few! But since some of my other answers were so long, I’ll keep this one short!
As you might have read in ‘Forsaking Char’, our keyboard player (Char) was invited to another Family International Home, and she had asked to take her key board with her. Now the keyboard is an integral part of our band so she had agreed to let us keep it for a while until we could get a new one.
The quality of keyboard that we use is pretty high and costs a hefty chunk of money, but we didn’t want to drop our standard, so we just prayed for some outright miracle. There is one gentleman we know who really enjoys our music, and one day we were talking amongst ourselves and wondering if we should ask him to give us a keyboard.
A couple weeks passed, and we saw him but didn’t ask him for it. One fine Sunday as we were nearing the end of our singing for the day, Joe got this inspiration to sing ‘I just called to say ILY’. It’s a sweet song, not exactly our favorite, but we played it anyway. So here we are singing this song and the Keyboard freezes in the middle of the song. Ironically it froze right after ‘I just called to say……’ FREEZE!’ Ha!! Well, what to do we thought, that was the end of the set for us anyway, so we bid our audience goodbye. We went to talk to Mr.K and this song just happened to be his FAVORITE song that had just stopped so abruptly! Ooops. He then said, ‘Oh well, maybe I should get you guys a new keyboard, ok, that’s a good idea, I am getting you guys a new keyboard. Just let me know what model number this is.’. Ha! It was so neat to see the Lord had already put it on his heart and we didn’t have to even ask him, he just offered! Isn’t our boss just the coolest!
