Heart sharing

Last night we had a little get together with the members from our home that we call ‘heart sharing’. We had a nice drink and sat around and chatted, mainly just saying what was on our hearts and what we wanted prayer for. It was interesting to hear everyone’s story and it gave a lot of insight into why people do things the way they do.
In The Family International there are so many different cultures, nationalities, and personalities, but I am amazed at the cohesiveness of our teams regardless of the differences. I guess striving toward the same goals and of course God’s love is what keeps us together and united. I can see how growing up in this atmosphere played a big part in how we operate now. There are probably not many people that young people in The Family can’t relate to, since we have worked with such a variety of people. Thank God for our parents who were radical enough to try something different and live Acts 2:44-45 the way it should be lived.
We have decided to go out somewhere altogether to ‘bond’ as a team, though I think we are pretty bonded already - it’s always great to reinforce the bonds of friendship. Plus, I don’t mind having a day off relaxing at a resort too much!
