Our school for slum children, called “Starting Point” has been open for two years now, and is doing quite well. The children have learned a considerable amount of English and have made great progress. Four of them have graduated to regular schools, which would have most likely never happened had they not come to our pre-school first. We have been organizing booths at companies, where the employees can “adopt a child” for a month and up to a year. They adopt them by sponsoring their school fees. We have opportunities for anybody who wants to visit the school to come by for a tour, and if any of you are ever in town… please come by!
