An opportunity in every obstacle - part 2

Vas writes: My sister (who is joining our team in Guad) and Joni and I, are presently up in San Antonio. We are stuck here for about a week more because someone hit our car while driving on the freeway. Thank the Lord we’re OK and there was absolutely no injuries whatsoever. The van however is in the shop, but there wasn’t that much damage done to it. The guy’s car who hit us was totaled because he also hit another car. At the time of the accident we were most concerned that he was OK which he was. He was actually a very nice young man and made it easy for all the logistics and paperwork to go through quickly so that we wouldn’t be held up for any longer than we have to. We feel that the Lord let this happen for a reason to keep us here a little longer, possibly to work on getting the washer and dryer that I mentioned earlier to take down to Mexico with us. We’ve been able to do a few days of fundraising for this and we’ve also been approaching individuals and companies asking if they would be willing to donate or give a discount on a set. This is another situation where we’re having to use the weapon of praise in another situation with its own set of obstacles.

About a week ago I was reading your blog about not getting the trucks provisioned and the lessons on overcoming the obstacles, I had just gone thru a hot sleepless night, the electricity had gone out for about 15 hours and here in Obregon the temperature is like 100 f. with tons of humidity, Plus I was planning a trip to the border (Arizona) and the car was having problems, so you know i was kinda feeling frustrated, why Lord,? it`s tough to make forward progress with these problems, so anyway, reading your testimony helped remind me that I can still be praiseful in spite of everything, and that the Lord is in control, PG!
