Life in The Family International

The 12th of August is nearing and our preparations for the Independence Day Celebration are almost over. The Kids Carnival that will be held for 600 orphans is on its way and the miracles haven’t stopped happening. Two of them are that one Hotel will be catering the food for this event and the other one that the prizes for this day have been sponsored! It’s also a good time for all of our acquaintances and friends to ‘come and see’ and while they are there they will also get a chance to hear about our ongoing projects. We still have some work to do, for example finding sponsors for sets of Treasure Attics and Kiddie Viddies for the institutions that these kids come from. As for us, well, there are some sicknesses going around with the monsoon and change of weather. So we are a tad weathered out, but….not enough to stop us! Adios!

Vincent and Sara are second-generation members of the Family International and are fulltime volunteers in India. Vincent conducts Outreach activities, designs for Family brochures, and helps in the managerial aspects of Family life. Sara runs a Baby School for Family babies and toddlers, organizes open forums and activities for teenagers, does secretarial and organizational work, and conducts motivational classes for students.
