Life in The Family International

Joni writes: My Frances is growing up. She is 11 months now and walking quite well.

She took her first steps at 10 months. Vas and I just knew that she would walk early as she is what you may call an “extremely lively” child. Ahem! She’s a bit of a handful, but doesn’t that mean that she’s really a genius inside? That’s what I tell myself anyway. Here are some clips of her walking. Our digital camera is an older model and so there is no sound.

When my son and his friend Kenny saw that I was filming, they wanted me to capture their moment of jumping down from a pretty high branch (in my opinion) and it doesn’t look too good the way they fell. I don’t think I’ll let them do that again.

Vas and Joni are members of The Family International and are fulltime missionaries in Mexico. Vas helps to organize outreach, writes, records and produces music, plays in a band, performs and does shows, counsels young people and engages in evangelism. Joni teaches her four children, evangelises, performs and does shows, sings and records and assists The Family childcare board. More about Vas and Joni
