Kiddo time
Vas: Well, I’m about to leave and take a bus to Mexico City and fly from there to Spain and then on to Germany. I’m doing last minute things with my wife like packing and taking time to talk because I’ll be away from her for nine days and will really miss her. Yesterday I was able to spend some extra time with the kids. We went out to a nearby mall, got some ice-cream, went on a train ride and explored the mall a bit. That morning we also enjoyed a delicous crepe breakfast that my wife made. Then we all did a “sewing pillow project,” learning to use a sewing machine as we went along. The little kids are especially good at pressing the sewing machine pedal. Sometimes they press it when we want them to, and sometimes when we don’t want them to, but still the pillows somehow came out good. We ended our day yesterday with another delicious crepe dinner at the kids request. Joni is such a hard worker and always makes our day with our kids very special. So back to today… I’m sitting here spending quality time with Joni, writing this blog and rocking the baby to sleep at the same time. Truly a life of bliss!
