Life in The Family International

An adventure to a nearby city! Well, our 3 day trip this time was nothing less than that when two of us girls took the local bus to a city that was an overnight ride away. We were treated to Hindi remake of ‘the Godfather’, and if the movie wasn’t creepy enough I had toes poking at me through the crack in the seat! I kindly asked the gentleman to withdraw his toes, and he of course obliged (rather begrudgingly). Well, this time after praying and hearing what the Lord had to say, we went with a plan in arm to give classes, get Activated magazine subscriptions, and also with a financial goal in mind. He led us step by step and as usual kept His word! A very kind gentleman decided to sponsor one volunteer for the duration of one year, which is a big help for us as that is something we can count on every month coming in! Many more miracles happened, and I will be going back for a day or so this week to meet some more people. I shant speak of the ride back, as it was as eventful as every other bus ride I have told you guys about – so Ta Ta for now.

Vincent and Sara are second-generation members of the Family International and are fulltime volunteers in India. Vincent conducts Outreach activities, designs for Family brochures, and helps in the managerial aspects of Family life. Sara runs a Baby School for Family babies and toddlers, organizes open forums and activities for teenagers, does secretarial and organizational work, and conducts motivational classes for students.
