So different

God really knew what He was doing when He made everyone so different. I just came to this conclusion today as we were practicing and preparing for a upcoming program that we are putting on. Our theme is "Around the World" (OK, so it’s a Treasure Attic title) and the basic message is that the heart of man is the same the world over; everyone needs and wants true love—Especially these days with so many wars taking place around the world, some of which are so sudden. this is a message that is sometimes forgotten.
Well, back to the conclusion. Today my friend Lara spent about 2 hours tying clumps of yarn onto a Rasta looking hat for a scene in our show that takes place in Jamaica. She then carefully and affectionately braided the yarn, and presto! The final product was stupendous. (Reuben hasn’t seen it yet…. he doesn’t know he’s gonna have to wear it!) At the same time Annie, another talented young person of ours, was coordinating the dance team. Mind you these girls have had to learn dances to Spanish, Arabic, Russian, English, and Hindi songs all in very little time. I thought she was superb. Joe, our musical magician, somehow gets the show musically together all on his own, and Andy and Reuben add the humor to the program. I’m relieved I’m only doing the script and some small acting roles this time! Andrew is our technical genius and is busy booking the stage, lights, etc, as I write this. Well, it’s pretty cool to see everyone pitching in and adding their flavor to the program—it’s on Sunday so say a prayer or two for us, we sure need em! Signing out, Sara
