All the proof I need
Yesterday I was talking to someone who is a professed atheist. In the past, I may have been somewhat intimidated by some athiests’ strong perspectives on religion or spirituality and such… but this time, as I spoke with him I became even more enthusiastic about my God. You see, I was just telling a story about a supernatural miracle of supply that happened for me last week. I was getting all excited as I narrated my story, and it left him in awe at the power of Faith. And you know, this guy was getting excited too, and inspired! It felt for a moment that my tiny flicker of faith was brightening another heart.
Since being back here with my family I’ve been in some very destitute situations, but with every test, the testimony is even greater. I know that most of the time, the Lord brings me to the very bottom of myself and the end of my resources so that when the miracle comes, I know HE did it again! I look back and realize that I can’t doubt the existence of the Lord in my life, when He has shown me his love in such fantastic ways. He spoils me rotten sometimes… if I didn’t believe in Him by now, and in His perfect love, that would be pretty ridiculous.
