ADDfest, Day Two
Morning ever so fair, for the bags under my eyes I don’t care!
Up and about we were, Beth and I who were in charge of the many practical affairs of running a camp. Dani from Spain did a 2 hour presentation, a class about the Endtime and our part in it. I caught the last 10 minutes of it, and it was pretty powerful. The afternoon saw us ‘going back in time’ to the Hall of Warriors, or the Hall of Fame, where each home was to present their ‘ADD experience’. We had ballads, live bands, music videos, power points, and even a belly dance! The dance night was announced, and wish you could have seen how gorgeous the girls looked!!! We first had some live music from the band with no name—some good beats, and the lyrics… well whatever we could understand seemed pretty wholesome. Ha.
The musicians did a wonderful job as usual, and were always ‘all there’! We then went into a Bollywood MTV sort of competition where different couples had to dance to a Hindi song. Hats off to Tim and Beth, who were most entertaining. Among the teens there were platinum card holders who had special perks, these were teens who had doubled their points during the AIP. The perk this evening is that they got to stay up late and go night swimming with all of the staff!!! The catch was that we all had to dive in with our clothes on.
