Life in The Family International

The ADDfest was a music festival/camp for the young people in The Family International who participated in the Activated Incentive Program (AIP) here in India! It was filled with music, classes, workshops, dance nights, rock concerts, sports, and lots of rain too! The 5 days in total were awesome, and Flo I think you would be green with envy about this too! We had some special appearances on the scene, none other than our fellow blogger Vas and his friendly partner Godfrey! Shocking stuff.

A huge thank you to their home and to their families and wives who let them go for a week to be part of the Addfest! Wish I had a pic of the first evening they came out to play, and that I had captured the teens expressions when they first saw them. Priceless stuff! We had tried to keep this all a secret, but what to say… somehow the news had spread around early… some eager beavers… I’ll be writing a separate blog for each day, so you can catch all the details of this camp! We are just here where the camp was held and it feels sorta empty without all the teens who left yesterday. And we go into our meetings once again.

Vincent and Sara are second-generation members of the Family International and are fulltime volunteers in India. Vincent conducts Outreach activities, designs for Family brochures, and helps in the managerial aspects of Family life. Sara runs a Baby School for Family babies and toddlers, organizes open forums and activities for teenagers, does secretarial and organizational work, and conducts motivational classes for students.
