ADDfest, Day 4

Today is the last full day of the Addfest! Friendships are blossoming, and maybe even more…
One of my highlights was setting up our little booth with CD’s, T shirts, posters, hand bands, and more that the teens could buy from us. It was just so cute to see them all excited about it, and lining up so expectantly. Those who were platinum card holders were able to get everything half price and some things even free!
I believe Mark did a class in the morning titled; ‘Little things, they add up’. You can in no way get the whole message of that class just from the title because it really had so many things in it! But I loved it, and will see if I can post up some favorite quotes from there.
Tonight was a big music bash. Some homes from nearby cities came as well, and it was wonderful to see so many old friends all looking so grown up, some with kids of their own, some with the second on the way. Shocking how fast time goes! Now the music was indeed a blast, but I didn’t find that out first hand as I was behind my little booth again.
Until I got rained out…….
The evening was commemorated with a small appreciation activity for the musicians, where we did a rendition of ‘So long, farewell, aufweidesein Goodbye’. …Or something. I do remember that we were terribly off key, oh but we were sincere.
