Christmas busy

Well… I knew that as soon as I got over the flu (which lasted four weeks… argh!) that things would be nonstop once again. And they are! This is the busy season, after all, but I find it particularly hard to NOT thrive on work. It’s one of the things I need to work on—to find that balance. Maybe its just part of human nature… or maybe it’s a sickness, hehehe… thriving on stress. It’s horrible though and makes me horrible, too. Have been trying to work on just having more faith in the Lord, resting in Him and letting Him carry the burdens.
Anyway, the kids are really excited, we’ve been busy with rehearsals, bookings, preparing for all the Christmas activities and the chance to share with others the true meaning of this season—love, giving, sharing a hope that we can have in our hearts always, no matter what the circumstances are around us.
Speaking of which, there’s a signal 5 typhoon heading for Metro Manila again, should be in here by the weekend. Hoping it won’t be too severe, though. At least we can plan ahead for it… and pray.
