What does Christmas mean to you?

Christmas means fun, enjoyment, laughter, hugs, a time when the feelings of love you have for those around you come out in their fullness. There’ssomething magical about Christmas and I love it! To me also Christmas is so much for children (you should see our room right now, it looks like a disco with all the Christmas lights. I’ll tell you about that in my next post and send some pics.) but the excitement for the children is so wonderful to see—the Christmas baking that they so enjoy, the activities, the performing that the children usually do for Christmas in the Family, baby Jesus, decorating the Christmas tree and of course the presents! Well, we all enjoy these things but for the children I think it’s just that much more exciting and enchanting. And of course it means working to give Jesus what we know He would want most on His birthday which is all of these things and His message of love for everyone spread far and wide.

Vas and Joni are members of The Family International and are fulltime missionaries in Mexico. Vas helps to organize outreach, writes, records and produces music, plays in a band, performs and does shows, counsels young people and engages in evangelism. Joni teaches her four children, evangelises, performs and does shows, sings and records and assists The Family childcare board. More about Vas and Joni
