But the point was made both to us and the people that we were asking for a room. It helped us to have just a tiny bit more understanding of the first Christmas and what it was like for Mary and Joseph looking for a place to sleep on Christmas Eve. I am sure that it was even a bigger test for them than it was for us. She was just about to give birth -- what a testimony to their faith - they trusted God in spite of everything.
