Vacation Hits!
Sweet thoughts of relaxation and vacation are now becoming reality and I can almost taste the salty air on the beaches of Goa. It’s midnight in the city of Bangalore, and well, the power is off- so we are all sweating and trying to finish up closing the house down and preparing for our long drive to Goa. It’s about a 13-14 hour drive, which is why we are up and speeding out the door at 4 am. Vin and Kai are trying to sleep amidst the clacking of the keyboard, and they are amazingly unbothered by the heat. Sometimes I just have to remind myself that I am pregnant, so I will feel these things more. The others in our Family home have gone on ahead and await us there. Introducing our trusty car team: Lara (17 new fulltime volunteer of The Family International), Anisa (19), Gladson ( well, I don’t know his age, but he has been in The Family for 2 years now), Vincent, Kaila Baila, and I……………..and my pillow. I’m sure we are in for an adventure!
There sure was a lot of excitement today – shopping for kids floats, beach sandals, and snacks for the journey…. Well I can’t exactly do all that I had planned and scrub every corner that I was itching to scrub in my room, cuz of the power situation, but maybe the Lord knew I had to write something up anyway and its forcing me to sit down and do it. 
Well, love to you all and wish us a great holiday in South Goa! Might not hear from me for a week or so as I will be very very busy vacationing (and there will be no connection, heh). Adios! (hey as soon as I finished typing this the power came on!!!!!! )
