Give and Take

Sara and Vincent

It’s been a new learning experience for me to live in a situation with other families and children while also having my own. I guess I always did live with kids, but having my own now is quite a different story and life takes a different turn. We now have 3 toddlers at the age of 2 and one baby that is six months old. They are adorable, all shades, sizes, and shapes – we should really model for United Colors of Benetton. :) We also have 3 children from the ages 5-9 so that makes 7 kids altogether and one on the way that will all be under the age of 9. Now I’m sure this is a very small number for Vas and his team, but for us having more kids in the house has made us revolutionize many of our ways of thinking and acting. Our food is a lot healthier, our schedule more regular, our curriculums better planned, etc. It’s a blessing to have more kids and another blessing that tags along is that you learn a whole set of lessons and attitudes of giving, sharing, forgiving, and most of all being flexible. I figure whatever I learn towards this will anyway help me in almost any other endeavor – so cheers to all the benefits that come by living together and raising our children together. The kids sure love it too!
