It sure has been a long time since I’ve posted something. I’m sure you’ve all but given up on seeing anything new pop up here from our little corner. But here it is!! Our new baby is here! And yes, it’s a girl and we love her to pieces. We’re still deciding on a name [...]

Rowen’s birthday

May 31st, 2007 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: I asked Rowen, my oldest, on her ninth birthday what she wanted to do. She asked “Can we go to a water park Mommy?” What a great idea! I couldn’t have thought of a better one myself since it’s been real hot here. I knew that we couldn’t afford to pay for one for [...]

May 14th, 2007 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Yes, we found out a few weeks ago but haven’t had a chance to blog about it yet. Well, not much to blog about regarding that I guess but just the fact that we seem to have the “making baby girls” down pretty well–lol. It’s like I just knew what the doctor was going to [...]

Kids club

April 19th, 2007 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: We just started a kids club for the children 5-12 years from all the Family homes here. So exciting!! I’ve been wanting to do this for so long and it’s finally become a reality. We have a ways to go in organization but we figure it’s better to start with something than not to [...]

True test (song download)

April 16th, 2007 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Vas: Well our first bible study was underway and now we’ve had two so far so; that’s so inspiring to have started. To me what’s most inspiring is finding people that are truly hungry for spiritual principles because it seems so many don’t even give it the time of day. I realize that’s it’s not [...]

A bit of flu

April 11th, 2007 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: We’ve had a bout of sickness for the past couple months now—colds, coughs, fevers. Thankfully we’ve all been very healthy for the last 9 months or so that we’ve been here but maybe this is flu season. This sickness that just seems to keep coming back to some of us sure has kept us [...]

A bit down

April 5th, 2007 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: I’ve been going through one of those times where I feel disheartened about myself and the way I am. I’ve never felt so much that I haven’t really done anything very well. I know that sounds very negative but that’s the way I’ve felt recently. I think some of the intensity of the feelings [...]
