Thoughts on the present

November 23rd, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Vas: Here’re some thoughts on the present. Pioneering something like this home and the different ministries we feel God calling us to do is a big job. I am realizing how disorganized I am and it is extremely good for me to be in this situation because I feel that this is one of the [...]

We went there with the intention of finding out how they make tequila and possibly even drinking some. We met the manager of the Jose [...]

About me

Joni: I thought I’d do one of those “random things about me” posts….since I can’t think of something at the moment to blog about. – I loved Elvis Presley when I was a kid. I still think he was a genius. – In my pre-teen and teen years I always said that I wanted to [...]

November 10th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Kids witnessing

November 9th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Instead of getting their treat afterward like usual to reward them for their efforts, they enjoyed their treat first before [...]

India, part 3

October 26th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Vas: Ok, so after the camp we took a two hour trip back to Bombay and the bus driver must have had some extra chai that day (I don’t remember how it was spelled, but it’s strong tea, especially if you get it from the bottom of the pot with buffallo milk). He was driving [...]

October 23rd, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Vas: it was a miracle we were able to play at ADDfest as we had to learn all the songs with a new band, Tim J and Joe were such nice guys and we became good friends right away. We basically practiced long and hard each day what we were to perform that night. The [...]
