Vas: Well, I have a confession. I am not a good blogger. Not that it’s a secret or unobvious to any of you… there, now that that’s off my chest, I got to meet Sara in india when Godfrey and myself went to help with the Addfest camp held outside of Bombay (Mumbai). It was [...]

Joni’s mea culpa

October 18th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni:Yes, Mike has every right to call us delinquent bloggers. Oh gosh, I’m gonna try to make up for that, yes I am! I’m going to sit Vas down in a chair and say “WRITE!” Actually, he’s been going non-stop for the last couple of weeks…first with being Mr. Mom for 5 days while I [...]

October 13th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: Vas is coming back tomorrow from a trip to India where he and Godfrey helped out at a youth camp that was held there. I can’t wait to see him! I’m sure he’ll have lots of stories to tell and I want to hear all about India again. I love India. Grew up there. [...]

To-dos and photos

September 22nd, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: I’m happy! We’re getting more organized every day. Some days I think about all there is to do and I all that I would even just really like to do and adjust and it can be a bit depressing–but it doesn’t have to be, no! That’s what I’m understanding more and more. Just one [...]

Reading and cleaning

September 21st, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: Today was my day off. I finished a really great book I was reading. The story of Saint Valentine. I very much enjoyed it, it spoke to me in personal ways and got me thinking. Spent the rest of the day mostly in my closet, cleaning, organizing, getting rid of stuff…ahh I love it, [...]

Sob!

September 16th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: My husband’s gone again…sob. Not because of his or my desire to be apart from each other so soon after his returning from Eurock, but to take some of the teens in our home on the road to the beach for some witnessing and fun. These decisions always take a lot of prayer and [...]

Eurock, part 2

September 14th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

I wanted to say how I felt this Eurock was the best event like this held so far. I personally enjoyed it quite a bit and was really moved by the music. It seemed that all the bands that were there, since they had participated in previous events, had a little more experience under their [...]

Well, just got back from Eurock…didn’t have any time to blog while there. The schedule was full with time with Jesus in the morning via a class by very inspired teachers and during the day sound checks for all the bands that were to play that evening and actally playing or mixing during the concerts [...]

28th Birthday

August 30th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

I am now 28, and no, it does not feel different than being 27. Here’s a picture of me at my surprise Birthday party. Vas says “Honey, someone’s on the phone for you to wish you a happy birthday” and as I’m on my way to the phone I bump into a chorus of “Happy [...]

Day off

August 26th, 2006 | By Vas and Joni living in Mexico | More from Vas and Joni

Joni: A few days ago it was our rest day (AKA a day off). While we were on the road and in the process of moving, we didn’t have any “real” rest days. We were very busy and of course our usual schedule was all screwie, so having this day off was wonderful to say [...]
